These three exceptional musicians came together to form The David Jones Trio A trio
that continually push the bounds of freely improvised contemporary music. Evri’s skilful use of soundscapes, David’s exploration of
not just the drum kit and a plethora of all sorts of objects creating unique rhythms and polyrhythms Bob of course had been on the
ground floor of this approach with the famous Brian Brown Quartet. The trio made a ground-breaking double album called “Intuition
“adding spiritual relevance to the music This get together after a long absence, follows an outstanding performance in November
2022 when the audience was left spellbound However due to space considerations the trio have agreed to the limitations of a
normal piano trio, however the musical approach of creating music on the spot will be a major feature of the performance with the
addition of some standards. Whenever these three musicians have played at Southside this year the audience has walked away in total
