COLLABORATIONS - Featuring Kerri Simpson, Bob Sedergreen and Carl Panuzzo
|
Saturday 9th May 2026 Time: 6:30 pm |
Carl
Pannuzzo is established as a key iconic figure and leads his premier Blues band, Checkerboard Lounge. Carl has recorded many albums
and toured internationally, as has Blues, Soul and Gospel queen, Kerri Simpson. This linkage to the Blues also applies to saxophonist
Mal Sedergreen, bassist Dean Addison who is Kerri’s regular choice on bass, and Mark Grunden on drums plus jazz legend Bob Sedergreen. Kerri
was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in November 2024. You never know what will happen when Mark & Carl get on percussion
instruments. This gig is a MUST as it features two of the most distinctive and soulful voices in the country. |

BOB SEDERGREEN AND FRIENDS With Rohan Wallis
|
Saturday 20th June 2026 Time: 8:00 – 10:00 pm |
Bob
and Mal Sedergreen are well known jazz and blues identities in Melbourne’s live music scene. Both have performed locally and internationally
at concerts and major jazz festivals. Ivan Rosa is an experienced, driving and empathetic bassist whose association with Bob, spans
decades, involving many live gigs, residencies and recordings. Mark Voogd is a popular drummer due to his ability to handle
most musical situations but especially his affinity of propulsive jazz time a la Jimmy Cobb. Bob’s special guest, Rohan Wallis is,
perhaps one of Melbourne’s most eclectic musicians. A handy trumpeter/ flugelhornist, a swinging and relaxed vocal delivery and in
demand DJ. His influences include as well as jazz, electronic music and progressive and post-modern music. Rohan always connects with
his audience. Whatever these musicians choose to play on the night will reflect their years of dedication to the playing and teaching
of music in Melbourne. Don’t miss a night, where you can hear a blend of jazz and popular standards |
